The Customer Does Not Need a Defense

One of the strongest moves in a difficult customer meeting is refusing to become defensive.

Customer Leadership

A challenging customer can pull a team into proving why it is right. I learned that this instinct usually makes the room smaller.

The better move is to understand the concern, correct facts carefully, acknowledge real gaps and use the data to create a shared picture of what is happening. Then make the next actions explicit.

Trust is not created by pretending performance is perfect. It grows when the customer sees that you know the numbers, understand the problem and will act without hiding from what needs improvement.

Experience becomes useful when it changes how you operate.
